I have been a musician and artist all of my life. There have been many ups and downs in my career. I started playing music at eight years old. My mom paid for me to take private piano lessons. I began exploring how the sounds and touch of the keyboards make me feel. It was not long before I started playing the guitar. I truly loved this instrument and started learning to play all of the folk songs I could find. Alan Lomax wrote a few books that were a wealth of information on the lore and history of folk music.
About this same time I got my first transistor radio and started listening to the radio non stop. This is when I first heard the Moody Blues, the Beatles and others that captivated my young mind. Music opened my eyes as a child. I wanted to learn how to write my own music so I was constantly fiddling around on my guitar. By the time I was twelve I had already been dumped by my first girlfriend. This led me to writing my first teenage angst song and I learned about ”creative inspiration”. Most of all I have always felt like music was a gateway to another part of myself that I don’t easily have contact with.
This is the magic that I wanted to share with the world. I would imagine if you came here you also have dreams and aspirations for your band. Maybe you are like me and always wanted to be a rock star.
What I want to do is help you find your passion and support you in learning how to make money using this positive energy!
Do you have a band?
Are you thinking of getting a website?
Maybe you already have one and don’t know how to get traffic to it!
I can tell you from experience getting a website is easy if you are willing to take the time and learn how to build it. This is a way you can retain control over your site. Another way is to pay someone to do it. That can be costly. You may even get many good deals on hosting with free templates and support. There are numerous good resources like ReverbNation or Soundcloud to help get your music online.
I have done all of these things. I built a decent looking website but there was a very long learning curve. I also have a ReverbNation account for my band and I’m still learning how to use it efficiently.
The thing I was missing was the knowledge to promote my website in a way that gets traffic!
I found out how to do that and you can to.
